About Us
My passion for colours, design and decorating came at an early age when my parents allowed me to choose the style and colours of my bedroom. My father was a builder and our home was always in some stage of renovation so I got to know all the trades and how to read an architectural plan at an early age.
I qualified as a Interior Decorator through Warren Tschannen School of Interior Decorating , Sydney in 1980.
I freelanced for a few years at Noosa and the Northern Suburbs of Sydney before taking up a position of Senior Interior Designer for a International Architecture - Design firm based in Sydney.
I designed, owner-built, decorated and landscaped my family home before starting my own business namely Sharon Nelson Design. I am also the Colour Consultant for the construction companies Turrell Building and Grantleigh Homes.
I work closely with my clients from concept to completion to help them create unique and inspiring spaces that reflect their personalities and lifestyle.
